Bjorn Longberg wrote the skeptical environmentalist and his challenge was that people like me were psychologically wedded to some doom and gloom thing. And I thought that was a pretty serious challenge to try and address. But Bjorn Longborg is an articulate man and his book is about that thick and it's got about 2,000 references at the back. Actually a load of those references are just a load of turn out to be a load of nonsense if you follow them. So one of the things we need to get much better at doing is spotting the difference between a piece of a well-founded argument and an argument that sounds good but can't be trusted.
