Introduction
The god gap is a term that's been around for a long, long time in po circles. It describes the fact that people who have strong religious belief tend to gravitate towards one political party. People with less significantly held religious beliefs, or more secular beliefs, gravitate toward the other political party. Non white democrats are statistically indistinguishable from white republicans and also from non white republics. Only 32 % of white democrats believe in the god of the bible.
