The Greek New Testament
We're dealing with 5500 Greek New Testament manuscripts, tens of thousands of ancient translations. We could virtually reconstruct the entire New Testament from just what the church fathers wrote. Oxford University has approximately 500,000 to a million scraps of papyrus not New Testament finding "the proverbial needle in a haystack" The average stack of Greco-Roman literature is about four feet high.
