The Evolution of Physical Eschatology

The field of physical eschatology evolved throughout the 1970s. It was the scientific study of the future evolution of the cosmos. The standard view today is that because of the second law of thermodynamics, we'll reach a state of thermodynamic equilibrium. All life will be impossible, no more humans and so on.
