In downturns, the number of transactions is less and less. And therefore, the strain or the clamor from up to market is resisted. So I suppose there are fewer transactions to actually get a true price. Perhaps that's the argument that they've been having with private equity: Where are all the customers? Yeah. They've kept the wheels spinning for themselves.
