The Balkan Alliance Between Serbia and Bulgaria
In March of 1912, Russian ambassadors succeeded in signing a secret alliance between Serbia and Bulgaria. The two countries basically divide Turkish territories between themselves if they go to war with Turkey. Russia was informed of this development, but not consulted beforehand. In the next week, after some unconvincing attempts to portray innocent parties, Serbia-Bulgarian Greece declared war on Turkey. And now you have all over the Balkans as self-styled 'freedom fighters'
