In HHS, how do we go about correcting the potassium? So again, your potassium is going to look good on your lab values. But they're usually potassium deplete, and this is because of hemoconcentration. If the potassium is normal or low, you're going to add 20 to 40 millimoles of KCL to each liter of saline that you're infusing.
