Structuralism allows you to see invariant and variant ways in which a story or an episode is put together. Now again, compared to what scientists do and, you know, medical research or not, who cares about structuralism? Some of us do. I think structuralism also gives us a way to consider how we think, how our own ideas are formed,. How our own prejudices are formed. And that I think is useful.
