Typescript - I'm Still Getting Errors

I find myself doing a few things that are a litle bit weird to fit into the typescript world. I still am going to do more and more of a type strip, but it's still a learning curve for people. Just kind of like set up stuff, i think takes a little bit longer than ideally it should. But speaking of set up is a reasonable esition.
