How Power Is Central to Child Sexual Abuse

Child sexual abuse overwhelmingly takes place in this country, being kind of an invisible crime because it takes place in a household. What i can't get over reading all these old accounts is the extent to which like power is central to abuse. It's almost always in the context of someone using their authority to make creepy shit seem normal. And so i think this is so important for why there aren't very many stranger danger abuses.
