We are like the partridges in Paphlegonia which have two hearts, for we have one heart that is kind, gracious, and courteous toward ourselves. We soon find fault with our neighbor, but believe that none must find fault with us. With strict measure we exact what is owed to us, but would have others be lenient when they demand what is owed them. Believe me, one loses nothing by being generous, noble, andCourteous with a heart that is royal, just, and reasonable.
