Age is important. The relaxing form of MS tends to occur at a younger age. Younger brains have more capacity probably to remyelinate and to recover from episodes. Sometimes what we see is if older patients have episodes, they don't quite recover as well as younger patients. And this is where getting on with the treatment is so important to prevent those relapses and prevent that damage.
