What's the Origins of the Term?
CNN's John Sutter says the term "reactionary centrism" was coined by Michael Hobbs, but he doesn't know where it came from. He argues that Democrats are obsessed with issues such as race and transgender rights which have driven many to vote for Republicans in recent years. The phrase has become a fixture of his interpretation of what is going on right now according to Sutter.
