Quantitative Modeling - How to Avoid the Inherent Man Bias
One of the whole arguments for using quantitative models is to avoid the inherent man bias, the qualitative bias. I want to use a phrase you just said to ta off a question, which was, you said you couldn't put some of these concepts into the model without the risk of biasing the results. The way we do it is that it's not really 50%. And hen the way i think i've been talking about it may sound like we give equal weights to the model and to our own judgment, and we really don't. Our models are, think, well thought out, consistent, based on long term relationships. All that stuff is hugely important.
