The Book of Baruch, Chapter 3

In Praise of Wisdom, the soul in anguish and the weirried spirit cries out to You. Hear O Lord, and have mercy, for we have sinned before You. For You are enthroned forever, and we are perishing forever. Oh, Israel! How great is the house of God, and how vast the territory that he possesses. It is great and has no bounds, it is high and immeasurable. The giants were born there, who were famous of old, great in stature, expert in war. No other can be compared to him who made them."
