i didn't know what the purpose of a drummer is. The answer to this is looking up from the sky down on the lawn. Purpose of a drummeris to get the artist's song to be number one on the radio. That means every decision, every thought, every symbol, everything that comes out of your mouth, should be toward Is this going to make that song a number one? Right? Nobody tells you that. There's no rule book. There'sno method book. I'm telling you right now. That was what my purpose has been. Even though ihd loved those bands, i wasn't theb fan of their playing at that point.
