The principle is understand your flywheel, says Steve. Bezos thought it was so critical to the company that he didn't want anybody to tell us, talk about it at all. Amazon did very little advertising in the beginning. What they focused on was how easy the website was to use and device stuff. And again, if you can kind of see those inputs, that flywheel keeps moving.
