The Government's Commitment to 29 Million Heat Pumps
There are some sneaky, transformative things in it, if you read the subtext. They've committed to 29 million heat pumps per year with a trajectory to get there. The other really geeky thing is they're proposing moving green levies which are currently funded across all of our energy bills into general taxation. Unfortunately, the timeline on that, when you look at the detail, means it's going to be a post-next general election thing.
