Tyler Cowen: Glen Weil, also an economist, author of Radical Markets, he has this critique of Tyler and you and other similar economists. He says that value too much economic growth or not enough rather social innovation. That's why we need new types of markets like common ownership, self-assessed tax, which make asset values reflect true use values. Cowen: I'm all for trying out these ideas in a corporation and let's try them and do some experiments in markets. But if we try and impose some of Glen's ideas from the top down, it'll be a disaster just like every central planning disaster in history has been a disaster.
