Near-Death Experiences
Near-death experiences are reported by people who came very close to death. These include the sensation of moving down a tunnel towards a bright light, or having an out-of-body experience where you can float up and see your own body from the outside. Some doctors at the University of Michigan have collaborated with neuroscientists to find cases where people happen to have sensors placed on the head to record their brain's electrical activity at the time of their death.
