The Fear of Not Being Good Enough

The fear of never being good enough in the church I grew up in was a virtue. We shouted for any preaching that reinforced our wormhood. Anything that reminded us that we were there wasn't much to us, but thank God when we die we can plead the blood of Jesus. Let's ask ourselves where we're living in the tension between the spirit of full acceptance and the fear of neverBeingGoodEnough. And make sure you don't confuse spirit conviction with the fear of notbeinggoodenough.
