The Definition of Mindfulness
The accepted psychological definition of mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment without judgment. When we're mindful, we have a sense of ownership over our own awareness. And this is what mindfulness is for me. Self awareness. You see things you may not want to see. You feel things that may be uncomfortable.
