Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Legacy

A lot of her youth was spent in Providence, Rhode Island. She grew up kind of enjoying writing. The Beecher family stopped being generous and providing them with money and shelter in 1873 when Gilman's mother finally filed for a divorce. We'll get into a little bit of tension in her legacy and we'll make sure to address that.
