Mazur Mahmood infiltrated a gang of criminals and personally saved posh spice from kidnapping or even death. The key witness for the prosecution was the person who had brought the story to Mahmood, a 27-year-old parking attendant named Florim Gashi. With all of that new information uncovered, as well as documentary evidence which showed it was Gashi, not the defendants who had repeatedly suggested the crime, the Crown Prosecution Service had dropped the case.
