The typical amount is five weeks of paid vacation for everyone, regardless of who your employer is. The first year you get four weeks and so on. Parent alive, it's about a little bit less than a year, is paid a based on your salary. At first it's 90%, then it's maybe 70%. And that's available to both parents, or either parents.
