The Importance of Local Communities in Memory
I think in the United States, it's a question of scale, right? I mean, there are people in different parts of the U.S. who are building memorials and museums that are meant to directly account for this history. And my hope is to continue thinking about this question. I've kind of become obsessed with how people remember the past.
