In 1952, almost five years to the day after his snowy escape, a tailor's son recognized Willy Sutton on the New York subway. In order to track him down in his element, the wanted poster that they put up, they distributed to tailors in the area. He got plastic surgery to try and change his appearance. Very common mid-century. It was like the thing. If you look all disheveled, people are kind of interested. And so... Damn.
