The Barrier to Live Music
Hot Chip is banned like enough as well as being electronic, there is enough for people to see and relate to. But then I sometimes realize, okay, so there's five of us at one time playing keyboards sometimes as well as there being a live drummer and percussion and stuff. So it probably is a bit of a barrier in much the same way that I see if I see a laptop set and somebody stood behind it and I can't tell what they're creating. It seems strange that we can't just say that the only music that can ever be performed live has to involve like somebody drumming or... And I used to really quite like the really that era you're talking about, Jim
