Naviant vs Navian - Forbearance

Naviant agreed to cantel one point seven billion dollars in debt owed by more than 66 thousand borrowers and pay over a hundred and forty million other penalties due to its abusive lending practices. Navian told the washington post that they, of course, deny all allegations and that the decision to settle was purely economic. Now, those abusive lending practices included misleading borrowers who were having difficulty making payments into entering what are known as long term forbearances.
