Introduction
Blya's Pascal was one of the greatest thinkers of the 17th century. He lost his mother when he was three or four years old and was brought up mostly by his father. His religious writings were dedicated to exploring an internal conflict within the Catholic Church between the Jesuits and the Johnsonists. In this course we will be delving into his book Ponce Exploring these fragments, seeing how they are vital and alive and challenging and disturbing as much today as they were when Pascal penned them.
