Omega: The Luxury Watch Brand That Owns Swatch
Omega is the luxury watch brand that's owned by Swatch. They announced this week that they are raising their prices again. The interesting thing to me was I saw a lot of analysis from investors and Wall Street analysts who viewed it not as a position of strength, but rather a move coming from a position of weakness. A lot of analysts are viewing the Omega price point going up as a reeking a little bit of desperation.
