Stonehenge Stones

The arrangement of stones in 2500 BC is complex. Inside the henge stands a series of concentric circles. Three complete trillathons remain standing, including one that collapsed in 1797 and was re-erected in 1958. Intriguingly, 300 years after this arrangement was laboriously moved into place, some of the blue stones are moved again to make a second horse shoe which cups the altar stone. Why? Nobody knows. It is just typical of the changing nature of Stonehenge.
