This chapter examines Pompe's disease and McArdle disease, both classified as glycogen storage disorders, highlighting their symptoms, severity across age groups, and the importance of diagnosis and treatment. While Pompe's disease is addressed with enzyme replacement therapy, McArdle disease's challenges with exercise intolerance and lack of effective treatments are also discussed, alongside related lipid metabolism disorders.
