The Story of Jeremy Goulay

Jeremy Goulay shot and killed two police officers on February 26th 2013 in Santa Cruz, California. A few days before the shooting he had been hanging out with some work friends at a female co-worker's house. He then broke into her house and attempted to assault her but she awoke and screamed prompting him to flee. The officer spoke with Goulay for a few minutes through his door before attempting to detain him. It's unclear exactly what happened next but Goulayshot and killed both officers before taking Sargent Baker's bulletproof vest and gun and fleeing in the unmarked police vehicle. Within minutes he was surrounded by other officers and an alley behind his residence. A short
