The Death of Superman in a Comic Book

In 19 92, d c comics announced that they were going to kill superman in a comic book. And so the comic book bubble pop, sales plummeted. It was very bad for a lot of people. The problem with tens of thousands of people all buying comics as investments is the comics aren't actually scarce.
