The tricky thing about an identity is that that bounces off. So i don't start thinking, oh, like, look at me. I'm actually quite dexterous. I'm stol clumsy. But if i trip and fall, that sinks right in, and i let that thought into my mind. And what we begin to see in cognitive behavioral therapy is that, like this process is very active, where some thoughts are being bounced out, depending on what i believe or not.
