The Story of Betty Barnet and the Tornado

69 people in the town of desot died in the tornado. 33 of them were children. Betty was sent to live with her aunt and uncle while they rebuilt their house. Her father, martin barnet, dies from his head injuries. By this time, minnie is three months pregnant and a widowed mom of three. And despite the overwhelming tragedies betty has experienced in her life, she remained grateful for surviving the tornado.
