The Inflation Problem of Your NHS Pension
episode 106 is called the inflation problem of your NHS pension. The government has tried to fix the inflation issue and largely they will do that with this change. But consultants even hiring health care professionals are going to carry on getting caught by the annual ounce consistently. They haven't fixed the underlying problem but still there. And you can end up effectively having negative growth in one part of the scheme and positive growth in another.
