There's some sense of when things change and we adopt to change quickly we miss that maybe the thing that we're changing to isn't better than is not better than what we had before now. I mean at the time that asbestos was created it was this wonder of science that was going to make fireproofing cheap but then 30 40 years later we find out it's a carcinogen. We keep seeing these man makes these breakthroughs but we don't really understand them and we adopt them before we before we really understand them.
