Did Florida Keep the Schools Open Help Stop Public School Enrollment Loss?
A substantial part of it is this pattern of domestic migration during the pandemic. In New York, Illinois, all lost a lot of families with school age children in states like Texas and Florida. So now, but then of course Florida also kept the schools open. And I suspect that their official homeschooling numbers understate the degree to which homeschooling went up.
