Is There a Special Virtue About IPA?

I'm sure there are videos about the International Phonetic Alphabet, which is what IPA stands for in case you didn't know. You might be able to find somebody who has even like the mid-sagittal view of the head and everything so that you can tell exactly what tongue position each symbol is supposed to represent. I think for this guy, he just needs to familiarize himself with the symbols so that he can use them in transcriptions to show other people what his language is going.
