In other schools, buddha nature is understood to be completely present, but obscured by our delusions. When i look at this stone in my yard, i see both the the painting of the buddha that has been placed on the stone, and i also just see the stone. That's how it makes sense for me. And i feel like i am like that rock. I have the mental conditions that have been placed on me through society, norms, my upbringing, my family values and views and and all kinds of things.
