Risk management is aimed at mitigating or reducing threat risks and maximising the possibility of opportunity risks. So why do you have to manage risk? Why would you want to do this as an organisation? And I guess the obvious answer that most people would jump to is to minimise bad things happening to the company. But there's other drivers for risk as well, some of them are regulatory drivers.
