The God Who Speaks

page one of the Bible is about from the get-go, the God who speaks new creation into order and life in the midst of where there was not life. And notice that when God speaks, God's hovering spirit, his presence, is always nearby. Why does God do this? Because God is so committed to partnering with humans. He wants to have representation and relationship with humans standing in the gap relating to one another as the means to which we relate to God.
