Riley is a Wiccan and Milla describes herself as like Wicca agnostic because I'm not any kind of religion but I'm also not sure whether this magic stuff actually is anything. The tone of the book is very colloquial and I guess modern for lack of a better word. All four walls are painted lavender lavender directly across from me as a giant vinyl sticker that reads life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain with all the dancing and all caps, then Mila observes the font is very aggressive.
