The Importance of Curriculum as Policy

I think of like our curriculum as a type of policy or a type of system that we're introducing this time, hopefully for the better. And so then when we do that, then the hope is that personal mindsets will shift when they need to and that process isn't clean cut or smooth. There are gonna be times as we have experienced this year where we see a type of wrestling or mindsets that are coming up on the surface that we need to address. But those are really good signs actually because if we saw that it was a smooth process, then we're certainly not seeing what's actually happening in schools.
