Is There a Silver Lining to the Pandemic?

"I am definitely someone who, you know, my, one of my close friends would say, like, I'm just doing nothing," she says. "And I don't get it. What do you mean you're doing nothing? Because even if I'm alone, I'm like learning something, I'm reading." The pandemic allowed people to take a break from their relationships and reevaluate the ones that were working for them or weren't so good. She says friendship really is an investment which requires intentional work by both parties.
