Run walk intervals should be between 30 seconds and a minute. You can work on increasing or decreasing your time based run intervals depending on how your fitness progresses, says lege. For most people, that's just going to be a really uncomfortable amount of starting and stopping. If you're doing run walk, it might be longer than that, and that's totally fine.
