The Illusion of a Small Self

Vedanta teaches that there is only one consciousness, which appears as many and it can be changed because it does have these different colors and flavors. And so when I experience myself, and I associate myself to that, it's actually that unbounded ocean of consciousness, which is experiencing one wave of its reality. So even within Vedanta, you have the idea,. well, there are really, there are individual Atman, but they're all sort of like individual pieces of a larger whole. That was kind of a difference in metaphor and thinking within Vedanta. Other Buddhists, of course, would have analogous ideas.
