The state runs society like there are deliverables and that people should be directed into living the right way according to the precepts of the party or the government. And I think that's a useful way to sort of start clawing your way out of the left right thing. You can talk about Calvin's Geneva, you can talk about Mussolini's Italy, you cantalk about Hitler's Germany,. Stalin's Russia, Kim Jong Un's North Korea. These are all closed system states that are run like enterprise associations where every institution must be loyal to the central command.
